Colt is a sledd-a-holic! Even after Colby got done pulling him around on the four-wheeler he still went sledding in the yard. Wasn't much snow but he just giggled and giggled going down this weenie hill.

Then he ran into this bush.

After the big snowstorm last weekend I decided to take the boys sledding. Last time we took Colt it was a little traumatizing for him. He went down on his butt the first time but after some bribing i was able to get him on the sled. He seriously had a blast! Made me happy to see my lil man having so much fun!

Santa came to Colt and Jaggers school a couple weeks ago. They had a big pot luck luncheon and got a bell from one of Santa's reindeer. Colt was so excited! They got to sit on Santa's lap and Colt asked him for a Dinosaur. Jagger just started at him and grabbed his beard. It was pretty cool that his school did all that for the kids!

Daniels Summit was beautiful both days we went. As we were going up the canyon there was absoutely NO snow till we got to the lodge. We had a perfect day...well, almost perfect.

This was the not so perfect part of the day! The hill is definitely steaper than it looks. Colby was going to let Colt go alone and i'm sooo glad he didn't. I think Colt's scared for life! There was a little hill in the parking lot, as we were packing up, he kept sledding down. At least we ended on a good note!

Well i think i'm finally caught up on my pics. My mom let me know she was still waiting for Halloween pics of the boys. Now if i could just get caught up on Christmas shopping...sheesh. Colt in action. When someone would open the door to give him candy he kept saying, "are you a stranger?" It was so funny. He met some other trick-or-treaters along the way so he totally got the hang of getting candy and thought it was pretty cool.

Jagger was being so funny last night. Everything you'd give him he'd immediately open his mouth and start chewing on it. Then Colt started to get mad cuz Jagg was eating cars, dinosaurs, train pieces and anything else he managed to grab.

This week Jagger's working on sitting by himself. He needs a little support but he's getting there.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love to see the leaves change colors into the oranges, reds and yellows. We went to Bear Lake a couple weeks ago and the leaves were so beautiful!

Colby and I went for a 4 wheeler ride and a bug hit colby right in the neck. He had orange ooze on his face it was hysterical we were both laughing so hard!

On Monday I took Colt and Jagger to the doctors to get their yearly/monthly check-ups. Poor Jagg had to get shots! Never a fun thing for a mom to watch. Colt was lucky, no shots for him, just flu mist which smelled like strawberries so he was a happy boy! Both boys are healthy as can be! The next couple days weren't so great. Jagger had a fever and was a little fussy. Finally everyones starting to get back to normal.

Trick-Or-Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat!! Well Colt didn't really know what to think about the whole Trick-Or-Treat experience. He was really hesitant at first and wanted to be held. The first house we went to they were gone and had a sign up that said, "please take one". So he grabbed one, then another one, and after about 5 he thought that was good and we were off to the next house! After that he thought he was so cool and went right up and rang the door bell, same thing, they let him have one and he kept grabbing more candy haha. It was really funny! All in all we had a great time! He's my little trick-or-treatin buddy!

We had so much fun lighting fireworks! Colt was really fascinated with everything. I really wanted to take him somewhere to see them, like Riverton Park or somewhere but i think he really liked seeing them up close...even though ours were dinky little things. Haha!

Colt has been so funny ever since we saw Toy Story 3. Colby and I bought him that hat when he was only a couple months old. He found it and has been wearing it EVERYWHERE!! We went to Walmart the other day and he freaked out cuz i put his hat back in the car, i put it back on his head and he shut right up. Even in the morning after he wakes up i'll find him in the other room with his hat on playing with his Buzz and Woody...he takes them everywere too. Its really cute. He'll come and find me and say, "Mama, i watch Buzz" so i'll have to put on Toy Story 2. He is a true cowboy. And we all know...a cowboy ain't a cowboy, without his hat.

I took Colt back to get his hair cut. I just wanted to chop it off for summer. Plus i hate doing it. Cookie Cutters is the cutest place. Once you walk in they have the kid pick out their favorite car they want to sit it, and you get to pick out a movie to watch. Of course Colt picks Elmo everytime. They have bubbles for the kids to blow and they will give them a balloon and a sucker when they're done. I thought the first time he got it cut he would scream but he just sat there eating. He was really good this time too. He was flirting with his hair cutter.

Colby took Colton on the Dragon Coaster, it was really cute. It goes a lot faster than you think. As soon as Colt got off he said, "mama go". So me and Colt got back on and went again. We played in the arcade, and Colby taught him how to bowl, and how to be a race car driver! Colt loved it! Later that night we took him to see Toy Story 3. I can't believe how good he was. He sat there eating popcorn like a pro! It was funny. He would take a peice at a time then he would reach over and grab Colby's coke all while sitting staring at the big screen. He kept talking at the begining of the movie. If a horse came on he'd say, "HORSE" or the pig, he'd yell "PIG". It's like he turned 5 overnight. All the things he's doing lately just makes me sad. He's just getting so big! All in all we had a very fun and busy day! I hope all you other fathers had a great day too!

For father's day Colby wanted to go to Hollywood Connection. When we got there we basically had the place to ourselves. Colt rode every single ride! We rode the pink bus and went around and around. He rode the hot air balloons with Colby. I thought it just went around in a circle. They actually went up in the air and started spinning. And of course the Merry-Go-Round. Colt didn't even cry or anything, he's such a brave little boy!

This morning we woke up around 10am and made pancakes...yummy! We got ready and decided to go down to Gateway Mall. It was cool, they were having some sort of festival and there were artist there doing chalk drawings. They were SO amazing!! Colt got to pick out a build-a-bear, or build-a-monkey i should say. He picked out a Buzz Lightyear Outfit to dress the monkey in. It even has a helmet. It's pretty cute. After we paid for it the people put it in a box for you. I think Colt liked the box more than his new monkey. He kept sayin, "hold box" and would carry it around. After that we went to Toys-R-Us and checked out stuff for his B-day. We went to Chilli's for dinner and got delicious ribs! Our last event for the evening was a fun little Carnival we drove by. There was everything there! We played some games and Colt got to pick out some duckies and won some toys. His favorite thing was this little ride that he got to sit in and it went around. He picked out his own car each time; 1st a yellow bus, 2nd a red fire truck, then 3rd a green sportscar. He went on an apple ride with daddy and got to spin around really fast while mommy had to watch. The Merry-Go-Round there was freakin fast! I even had to hold on haha. We ate a snow cone and called it a night. It was my most perfect day to spend with my little family.

Colt LOVES working in the yard. He has a gardening set that is really cute. He pushes around his little wheelbarrow and has his watering can and goes around to all the flowers and will water them. Every time we go out he knows exactly what to do. Before i say anything, he goes and gets his shovel and says poop. He tells me where all the poop is so i can poop scoop before he plays, he'll show me and say, "poop....Kkkkk", it's pretty hysterical. After that he wants his lawn mower and chair out so he'll walk around with that for a while, then he moves to the wheelbarrow. He is talking so much lately i can't believe it! He is such a smart kid and amazes me every day!

Easter Morning was really fun! Colt woke up and immediately noticed his Easter basket and ran over and started taking everything out. We weren't very good bunny's this year and didn't have the camera ready so we made him go back in his room and start over. We'll have to do better next year since that's when it's really gonna count. I think his favorite part was finding the eggs. Colby had to hide them like 3 times. Boog even got her own Easter basket with goodies. After we had done our family time we went and saw all the grandparents. We thought it would be fun to go see a movie, How to Train Your Dragon. Colt LOVED it. It was really cute. I would look over at him and he would just be laughing staring at the big screen. He did a lot better than i thought he would. The last 10 min of the show he couldn't sit there anymore and wanted to run. That's a long time for a kid to sit so i don't blame him! We wanted to go to dinner but by the time we were on our way he was passed out. Poor little guy got overdid!

Today we took Colt to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was a lot better than i expected it to be. There were tonz of things for kids to do and see. Anytime Colt would see a dinosaur he would say raaar! It was pretty dang cute. Then they had little caves you could go in, and a place where you can pretend to be an Archaeologist and dig in the sand with brushes. He was a little bit too young, but they also had a place where they hid dinosaurs in water and sand and he touched the water but really didn't want anything to do with it...surprising, i know!! Then we went to Cabella's and he saw all the animals and he LOVED the fish...Oh, and the HOPTER!! Out of all the animals on that mountain, he saw right past it and saw the yellow hopter. We had a fun and busy day!

I got out Colt's potty the other day, just to kinda see what he thinks of it. I know he's too little but i just want to get him used to sitting on the potty. I read that that help get them prepared. He's been waking up dry almost every morning, and that's one of the signs. Anyways today i heard a door shut so i kinda waited a few seconds then saw that it was the bathroom door. I knocked and said, "can i come in" when i walked in Colt was sitting on his potty. It was so cute. Then he started freakin out cuz he needed an M (M&M's).

Well my birthday was a success. Me and Colby had so much fun at the cabin. We went boarding on Saturday and boarded till we got kicked out! We went to Kings in Montepilliar and got toys for Colt and Boog. We watched movies and got pizza. On our way up we saw a Mama Moose with her 2 babies and TONS of deer. They were right by our cabin so it was pretty cool. I missed Colt so much while i was up there. I wanted to call every hour...haha thanks to Colby he took my phone away and said we were on vacation. When we got home i got to open all my presents, and hug my little man! Of course he went right to Colby and said CAaaR! They drove cars for a little bit before we went inside :0) Thanks everyone for my Birt-day gifts. I love them ALL!!

Yesterday we went outside to play. Colt LOVES to be outside. No matter what the temp. is he wants to be OowT! (in his words). We bundled him up and he played and played. Mowed just about everything, including the sidewalk. Tried climbing up the slide and slid down on his belly. He laughed histerically. Then when i brought him in he had a FIT!! Oh my...let me just tell you how ob-freakin-sessed our kid is with cars! I got Colby a big remote control car for Christmas and Colt has been in love ever since! Everyday he runs around our house sayin "Dada Car, Dada Car" when we have to put it up or away or something to charge it he freaks out and throws the biggest tantrum and cries forever. That's his one guilty pleasure in life and he can't get ENUF!! He has a little one to that we charge for him and he doesn't want me to drive it or anything, only daddy can drive it. I picked him up from my Ma's yesterday and when we got in the car i said "wanna go home Colt", his eyes got all big and he said "Car Dada". It's pretty funny. I think Colby secretly loves that Colt only wants him now. There bestest of buddies!

Well i have officially made it through my first couple of weeks at Asea. I love it! Its a small company there's maybe 16 people working here. My first week was a little hectic and they just kinda threw me here or threw me there. It's awsome! I am doing different things everyweek and sometimes i have to go back to customer service. Haha...yesterday i was talking to this lady who told me that she started giving ASEA to her cat! After a short time...WALA... it's eyesite came back and everything! The vet told her that she needed to think about putting it down and now it's fine. Weirdness! I do like being back at work but i miss my little man sooo much! The first couple days were the hardest. If they didn't keep me so busy i'd be calling every hour asking how he's doing. It's funny tho, he doesn't even miss me:'( He's at that stage where he's fine without mommy, he's just growin up so fast.

Wow what a week!! For some reason it just seems like i have NO time. I guess that's what christmas does to people. I am officially done, presents wrapped and everything. lol i even have the stockings stuffed (only because i had to put them up this year because of one little person in our household). He loves to put his hand in them and walk around the house. He is such a character. His latest things are; blowing bubbles in the tub (scares mommy) but histerical! His favorite book lately is "Everyone Poops" He likes to stick his feet in the water bowl, and wacking colby in the head. Haha. Colby was really into playing a game on his Xbox and Colt had the wrapping paper tube and just WACKED Colby in the head...he didn't even see Colt coming. And last but not least, ME, i had a phone interview with 1800 contacts today so hopefully that will be my Christmas present. I think it went really well. They'd have to be CRAZY not to hire me...hehe!

Well Colt is finally back to his old self after having the stupid flu. It was really sad to see him so miserable and not be able to do anything about it. I'm just glad no one else got it...well actually i know why Colby didn't get it, lol he wore a gas mask for 3 days while he was at home. "New Moon" comes out today woo-hoo! We are going to see it at 4:20, now i just have to wait like 5 more hours haha. Well that's just about it for my boring week. Hopefully next week will be better.

What's New With the Crew...

Colt had his 15 month check up on Monday and had to get his shots. He is doing just fine, just been more onry with these than any of his others. He weighs 21.5 lbs and is 31 inches long. Doc said his molars are coming in ALREADY!! I'm in for a real treat haha. It was my Pops Bday yesterday and I made him dinner. I was surprised it actually turned out real well. I know he liked it so i was kinda proud of myself. Colton's latest thing is he absolutely LOVES "Bapples" as he calls them. He'll just sit there and point and yell pretty much till you give him one. You have to take a bite then give it to him and he will takes bites and spit out the peel. He is so cute and getting so big. Another thing he does lately is spit! He's facsinated with his tongue and blows spit bubbles. He has to wear a bib 24/7 now cuz he ruins all his shirts. He's such a silly little guy. Colby is still doing really well at his job and is really happy. I am still jobless and loving it. I have been looking but nothing yet so we'll see.

Thanksgiving here we come...

So Halloween is finally over. Now it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving. Not one of my fav Hollidays but regardless it's nice to get together with family and give thanks. Now i just need to take down all my Halloween decorations. Colby and I went shopping for Colt today and got all of his shopping done!! I am super stoked that we don't have to worry about him anymore, now it's the wrapping i'm dreading.

Pumpkin Carving

Aparently pumpkin guts aren't Colts thing. I cut off the top part of the pumpkin and put it on the ground to see what he would do. He put his hand in there and made the funniest face. He would run away then come back and do it again. After i carved it out for him he would stick his finger in the pumpkins eye. He couldn't figure out what the deal was. He loved picking it up. He keeps taking off the top and giving it to me then wanted me to give it back to him so he could put it on again. We did this all day!

Halloween Party

My moms ward was having a Halloween party and Colt dressed up and got to play games. He had a really good time. He loved seeing all the kids in their costumes. Of course he was the cutest one of all.

Colton couldn't get enough of the pumpkins today, he spotted them all the way from the car. While we were walking around, we found a cute little spot for a kodak moment. We started out with 3 pumpkins... Now we're down to 2...

Then he got down and walked over to the pumpkin he pushed off...

And started picking the dirt off. What a goof ball!

I'm so proud of my hubby getting the job at Questar. He was the #1 pick out of like 200 people. He is doing so well there and it sounds like they really like him. He looks SMOKIN' at his job interview. Cleans up REAL NICE!! Way to go Colby!

Day at the park

Today we went to the park! Colt had so much fun, he ran and ran and ran. He would throw the ball to Boog and she would go get it and drop it and he would do it over again. He tried taking Boog for a walk too but she just wasn't cooperating! There was this tree that he walked around and around. He also experienced eating dirt for the first time. He scrunched up his face, so hopefully it'll be the last.

Colton has these green frog rain boots that he loves!! I had totally forgotten about them till yesterday. He went in his closet and took them out then came in the living room and tried putting them on himself. I was watching tv and i heard him grunting. LOL he was working so hard! I put them on for him and he wore them all over the house, even out. He must have known the weather was gonna be bad that day!

Blast at the Beach

Last weekend we went to Bear Lake, it was a lot of fun! I watched my dad fix the sprinklers while i played in my pool. Then we found out Pa and Grams were coming up to so we went and spent the day in their trailer. I got to play on the beach where my daddy built me a sand castle and dug me a huge hole! I got to dig and throw dirt then mom had to wash me off in the water. We didn't get to stay out as long as i woulda liked cuz i got a little cold!

Colt's 1st Birthday

As you all know Colton is now 1! His birthday party turned out to be a sucess! He was a little grumpy but i guess that's how first birthdays go. It has been such a fun first year. I was looking at some newborn pictures of him the other day and it's crazy to see how much they actually change. He is basically running now. I love him and my family so much and i couldn't have asked for a better little man!

We rented this, it's called the SUMO TUBE! You're supposed to get inside it and hold onto a rope then you can turn and stuff in the water. The lady they got it from said only one other person had rented it. We took it out and tried it...now we know why only one other person...LOL not safe!

He tried drinking a Coke while he was skating. Then he dropped it in the water and had to pick it back up. He even did a trick! He was able to turn his boar around without cracking up. Way to go Colby!!
